Loxley England SS16

Always great to find another new leather and luxury goods brand and thanks to a visit to the designer showrooms at The Brewer Street Car park as part of LFW SS16, Loxley England is now firmly on my list. They cover it all; luxury, sophistication, sumptuously soft leather and even have a clothing line too! Suffice to say, I fell in love with this bag…

So many looks, not enough storage space on my camera! This is always the case with me when it comes to LFW. As was the case at the KTZ runway show as part of London Fashion Week SS16. I loved thoroughly enjoyed it though. Huge thank you to Kelly Cutrone and her team at People’s Revolution for arranging a ticket to the show for me.

It’s September 2015 and Spring is definitely in the air; Spring/Summer 2016 to be precise. Danielle Romeril’s SS16 presentation at The Institute of Contemporary Arts was full of colour, texture and print. Loved the way the specially made sets complimented each of the looks.

This is one of my favourite presentation’s of London Fashion Week SS16 for visual, creative and design reasons. One of  the main reasons I like attending presentations is that you can be just as creative with the visual concept as with runway shows; sometimes even more. Steven Tai at The Elms Lesters Painting rooms did not disappoint. The old school classroom environment with vintage style old wooden desks, coloured chalk on the blackboard, balloons and multi-coloured paperchains provided a sweet reminiscent backdrop for showcasing Steven Tai’s SS16 collection. This collection is for those days when you want to look preppy, girly, cute, feminine or all of the above. Frills, bows, prints and pastels topped off with geek-chic accessories such as round rimmed glasses, cute ankle socks and girly hair slides combined with the models cutting, pasting and colouring in, made me want to join the class too! Plus the fact that they had retro sweets hidden in their desks…things have changed since I went to school 😉
